THE SANFRANCISCO BRIDGE

*This is the bridge that my group and I had made. First I had sketched the bridge on a graph sheet of paper, and my teacher Connie gave us a card bord which our bridge, which was to be built on it the cardbord. Their were also rules of the game and these were the rules...

*a bride that had to be 5 inches off the card bord

*a bridge that had to be 7 inches tall

*you can't use more than 200 sticks

*no more than enough glue neeeded to be used

*Last but not least you can run for the best looking bridge or the strongest brigde. So we ran for the best looking brigde, and even though we didn't win we still got the credit for this project.

...The way it is...[Biography]

The beautiful Elizabeth Tautuiaki was born in Vallejo,California & when she was about seven years old, she moved to the great city of SanDiego where she was raised. She is the third child out of three kids, which means she is the youngest and the most intelligent. Elizabeth was not the spoiled one but the rebellious one who always loved to be the independent one. Her ethnicity made her confident & different from everyone else in school, beacuase her parents always told her to be proud of what she truly is on the inside. She always stood out in any crowd she was in, because she was always the kid with the beautiful smile & an outgoing atitude. Elizabeth learned to speak her mind, although it got her into trouble at times, she learned the hard way. Her parents are from the south pacific island of Tonga where the palm trees sway in the cool tropic whether, and the water is clear.

Elizabeth grew up in a difficult society beacuse her parents barly had any money. Her dad tried his hardest and sweat most of the days in the hot sun working construction, while her mother did part time live-in with seniors & took care of her three kids at the same time. As Elizabeth grew up, she noticed that life started to get harder, so she felt as if she needed to fit in & act a certain way to be accepted. She could only try to fit in so much that she gave up trying to be something that she really wasen't. Elizabeth was a fighter, but she also had a differnet side to her that was soft and forgiving.

Now, she is 25 years old, and has graduated from HighSchool, University of San Diego and, Law School including criminal justice which she strived to get her degree. She is now a part-time mom, although she dedicates her time to her beautiful two kids. Elizabeth's husband & two children are the light of her life. She is happily married & has settled in New York where she has always dreamed of living since she was little. Elizabeth is now working hard to support her children in a field of her interest. Her two little boys play football as her husbands helps to manage their schedule while she works on New Yorks murder cases. She hightly has expectations for sons in the future & wishes to grow old with her commited husband who've been happily married for seven great years. Elizabeth loves icecream so when she has time off she takes her boys to get icecream & spend time with them and the love of her life.

PERS0NAL G0ALz

1) -->Talk about 1 grade/credit that you're very proud of this term and why?

* I'm very proud about myself & the way that i stayed strong enough throughout this grading period, because I know that I have been working hard to earn the grades I have now. I would proudly say that I'm satisfied with my grades and, very motivaited to do better next grading period. 1 credit in my grading didn't make me happy, it was all of them put together. To see that I have a row of A's, on my reportcard is one of the best feelings. So i'm happy to say that I have some of he best teachers in the world who have the patience to deal with my grades & I.

2) -->Talk about 1 grade/credit that you know you could have improved this term and how could you have done this?

* I felt that my grades were good enough. I didn't feel the need to brag more about, how I need an A+, although that would be nice! I felt that I needed to improve my citizenship grade. I know that I need to be early & on time for class everyday, also with a better attitude, especially when I have my bad days. Including a bigg smile to help my teachers & fellow classmates have a better & brighter day.

3) -->List 1 academic goal you have for this next term/semester?

* Since I barely just started my 11th grade, I want to strive to finish this grade as soon as I can. I'm seven-teen so my graduating year is 09, therefore I'd love to graduate my year 09 babee!
* Working for my future, to have a better one than my parents did.

4) --> List two overall goals you have for this upcomming year.

* 1st & foremost i'd love to graduate so I may conintue to a successful college of my interest. I really want his diploma so my goal for now is to JUST DO IT & GET IT OVER WITH!
* 2nd have a job that pays well for my car that transports me from point A to point B. I feel that as soon as I have my car than it's a goal that I have fullfilled, but as of now my goal is to get a car because I got a job. That's one goal done & about 5 more to go!

NO ON PROP [4]

->PROP 4: A MINOR FEMALE MUST GET PERMISSION BEFORE GETTING AN ABORTION.

->PERSONALLY AS A MINOR MYSELF, I'M AGAINST PROP 4, BECAUSE I FEEL THAT A YOUNG GIRL NEEDS TO KEEP HER OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS TO HER SELF. MOST YOUNG GIRLS LIKE ME DECIDED NOT TO LET OUR MOTHERS KNOW, BECAUSE OF SITUATIONS IN THIS CASE THAT WOULD GET OUT OF HAND AND CAUSE DISRUPTION IN THE HOUSE-HOLD. I KNOW THAT SOME YOUNG GIRLS ARE VERY OPEN ABOUT THEIR SITUATIONS ON ABORTION AND THEY FEEL THAT THEY NEED TO LET THEIR PARENTS KNOW, WHICH IS PERFECTLY FINE AND NORMAL. I THINK THAT LEAVING THIS PROP ALONE IS THE BEST THING TO DO. I FEEL THAT IF A YOUNG GIRL WANTS TO LET HER PARENTS KNOE THAN SHE WILL STAND UP, AND MAKE THAT HAPPEN. SOME PARENTS DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THE DECISION OF THE MINOR, NITHER THE SITUATION THAT HAPPENED TO THE MINOR, FOR INSTANCE LETS SAY THE MINOR HAPPENED TO GET RAPED BY A MAN AT SOME PARTY OR ANYWHERE? SOME PARENTS WOULD PROBABLY MAKE THE GIRL HAVE THE BABY REGARLESS OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO THE THEIR MINOR. MOVING FURTHER ALONG, I THINK THAT SOME YOUNG TEEN GIRLS GET PREGNANT ON ACCIDENT BY A BOYFRIEND WHO THE PARENTS DONT LIKE AT ALL, MAYBE THE TEEN MOM WANTS AN ABORTION SO SHE DECIDEDS TO KEEP IT TO HER SELF. THESE CASES ARE VERY POPULAR IN SOCIETY TODAY, WHICH IS WHY WE NEED TO PREVENT PREGNANCIES WITH OR WITHOUT A PARENT CONSENT. THIS PREVENTS ALOT OF POVERTY GOING ON TODAY ALL OVER THE WORLD. ONCE AGAIN, MOST TEEN MOTHERS AREN'T PREPARED AND ARENT FINANCIALLY STABLE. AND THAT'S MY OPINION!
